Yamazaki Limited Edition 2023 Single Malt Whisky

Between 2014 and 2017, the Yamazaki Limited Edition bottlings were some of the most sought after annual Japanese whisky releases on the market. Limited in numbers and containing some precious, aged Yamazaki liquid inside, they delivered in quality, appearance and collectability. In 2021, Suntory revitalized the series.
Composed of malt twelve years and older, these releases are also reported to contain some much older material for added depth and complexity.

This is the 2023 release Limited Edition, aged in Mizunara oak casks.

    Nose:    Notes of pineapple, orange peels and gentle nutmeg.

    Taste:    Fruity and spicy, sweet honey, creamy coconut and subtle hints of blueberry.

    Finish:   Long with notes of vanilla, ginger and gentle smoke. Pleasant spicy aftertaste.
