    Nose:    Tobacco, chocolate and clove.

    Taste:    Spicy, but also a bit fruity with orange notes.

    Finish:   Medium with fantastic texture.

Willett Distillery, also known as Kentucky Bourbon Distillers (KBD), Ltd., is a private, family owned and operated company that produces bourbon and rye whiskey. Willett Distillery was founded by Thompson Willett in 1936, built on the family’s farm. The distillery is located on the outskirts of Bardstown, in Kentucky. The Company operated until the early 1980s and many members of the family joined it. Then times went hard for Whiskey producers and the Willet distillery closed down. Evan Kulsveen purchased the property in 1984 and took great efforts to restore the distillery and the warehouses. In 2012, after several years of renovations, the new distillery opens is opened.
At present, production at Willett Distillery combines old traditions and crafts with new technologies.
