Beryllium copper conductors offer high electrical conductivity making them ideal for electronics. They also offer high strength & durability, and are oxidation & corrosion resistant.

Why Use Banana Plugs?

The two main benefits for using banana plugs are an improved electrical contact for a better connection, and to make it easier to install, relocate or swap out equipment. This is especially handy when connecting speaker cable for a 7 or 9 channel receiver. Rather than fiddling around in the back using cramped thumb screws to attach bare-wire, you simply attach a banana plug to each wire, plug them straight in and you're set!

Metal Screw Thread

Another benefit of our banana plug design is the inclusion of metal screw threads in the ABS housing. This guarantees a firm connection without the risk of stripping the thread, as is the case with cheaper banana plug designs.

What is the plastic insert for?

You may notice a plastic sleeve in the banana plug. This is normal and is there to help secure the screws during transport so they don't become loose. Before using the banana plug, please remove this insert and discard.

Steps For Usage

1. Strip speaker wire sheath, exposing the bare wire. Insert the speaker wire into the end of the banana plug.

2. Use the included Allen key and secure the 2 screws so they press onto the speaker wire inside and form a tight connection.

3. Place the outer plastic cover over the banana plug and screw tightly into place.
