Overview

Davis 6440 Soil Moisture sensor uses electrical resistance to measure the moisture level of the soil. To use the Davis 6440 soil moisture sensor, it must be connected via a Davis 6345AU Leaf & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station (sold separately). Simply bury the Davis 6440 sensor at the desired depth, then monitor moisture levels throughout the season. It does not require periodic maintenance during the growing season.

Add up to four Davis 6440 soil moisture sensors to the Davis 6345AU Leaf & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station.

The Davis 6440 is compatible with both original Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2 stations.
