Overview
The Sky-Watcher VIRTUOSO GTi 127/1500 Maksutov-Cassegrain on Dobsonian Style Mount is a fully automated telescope designed for both beginners and those eager to dive into observing. Alignment is a breeze with the "Bright Object" alignment mode, and the computerized SynScan system takes stargazing to the next level by offering automatic pointing and tracking for over 42,000 celestial objects. This streamlines the process, allowing more time to marvel at the wonders of the night sky. The Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design, featuring a front meniscus lens and two mirrors, ensures a compact yet powerful telescope. The front meniscus protects the mirrors from atmospheric elements like humidity, dust, and pollution. Despite its short tube, the telescope's long focal length enables high magnification with standard eyepieces, revealing intricate details in celestial bodies. With a maximum practical magnification of 256x, this Sky-Watcher Telescope provides excellent views of Saturn's rings, Jupiter's bands, the Martian polar ice caps, and the phases of Venus and the moon.
The VIRTUOSO GTi Dobsonian Mount is WiFi-controllable with iOS and Android devices and is compatible with SynScan hand controllers for seamless tracking and alignment. Utilize WiFi to wirelessly control the telescope with your smartphone or tablet.
Sky-Watcher Telescopes

'We believe that beginners' first scopes should be not only affordable but also of the highest quality. Looking through a telescope for the first time is a magical moment and we believe in magic! We're called "Sky-Watcher": our desire is to see the worldwide community of skywatchers grow, until, one day, every person in the world can be a part of our community!
