Overview

The JL Audio C1 2-way component system features a 6.5-inch (165 mm) woofer and 0.75-inch (19 mm) aluminum dome tweeter, designed for easy installation behind most factory grilles. Multi-application adaptor rings allow drop-in fit for oversized 6.5" and 6.75" openings, while the tweeters include surface and flush mounts for versatile placement. The C1-650 woofer uses FEA-modeled design, a stamped steel frame, DMA-optimized motor, mineral-filled polypropylene cone, rubber surround, and Conex(R) spider for precise voice coil control and low distortion. Tinsel leads reduce buzzing and fatigue. Edge-driven aluminum dome tweeters provide clear, detailed highs, delivering premium sound performance typically found in higher-end speakers.
