Overview

The Kenko Circular Polarising filter enhances color saturation, darkens skies for striking cloud contrast, and eliminates reflections from non-metallic surfaces. It reduces softness caused by atmospheric haze without altering overall color balance. The filter, with a factor of 3~4 (1 2/3 to 2 stops), is compatible with modern camera metering systems. Its thick design, consisting of two glass pieces, is common, but thin-frame options are available. The filter is most effective at a 30-40 degree angle to reflective surfaces, reducing glare. Adjustments are visible through the viewfinder, and optimal results are achieved when the sun is at a 30-40 degree angle for sky and cloud enhancement.
