Overview
The NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE) is a compact and lightweight wide-angle FX-format prime lens, created to complement the design of the Z fc camera body.
The "(SE)" on the lens model stands for "Special Edition". Inheriting its design from classic NIKKOR lenses, features such as knurling, control ring and typeface of manual lenses, are faithfully reproduced to represent the designs of the Nikon FM2 film SLR camera era.
Features
BUILT FOR VERSATILITY
Perfect for everyday wide-angle snapshots or even up-close photography, the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE) is your optimal partner with its 28mm focal length, fast f/2.8 maximum aperture and minimum focus distance of 0.19m.
SMALL AND POWERFUL
Extremely portable and lightweight, the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE) is ideal to carry around for daily snapshots of landscapes, cityscapes, and subjects with a length of approximately 43mm and weight of approximately 160g. Built to minimise aberration when shooting close-up while maintaining fast and accurate autofocus control, the lens adopts a multi-focusing system1 for precise shooting.
Created for durability and ease of use, the lens is designed with consideration for dust- and drip-resistant performance, while functions such as aperture and exposure compensation can be assigned to the control ring.
When mounted on a DX-format camera, images can be captured at the standard 42mm angle of view.
Nikon Corporation
One of the world's largest and most respected photographic companies turned 100 this 2017. Nikon was one of the innovators of the DSLR camera and was the first company to enable video recording on a DSLR camera, in fact NASA called on Nikon to provide the photographic equipment on the Space Shuttle. No longer in the shadow of its competitors, Nikon now stands up as a world leader if not the world leader in digital photography and we believe that Nikon always represents great value and even better technology.
