Overview

Davis 6490 UV Sensor measures the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum. It also allows you to display the UV index, dose rate, and daily and accumulated dose.

The multi-layer filter provides a spectral response that closely matches the Erythema Action Spectrum. Its diffuser provides excellent cosine response while the Two-piece housing minimizes radiation heating, allows convection cooling of the sensor, and prevents the trapping of water or dust.

The Davis 6490 UV sensor is compatible with both the original Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2. This UV sensor is already included with Davis 6162AU Vantage Pro2 Plus and Davis 6163AU Vantage Pro2 Plus Fan Aspirated.
