Overview

The Vanguard Vesta 8x32 is a compact and lightweight monocular that is perfect for slipping into a pocket to be used anywhere on the go. Whether you're spotting wildlife or attending a sporting event or concert, this monocular gets you 8x closer to the action, while the 32mm objective lens, BaK4 roof prism and multi-coated lenses deliver a clear, crisp image.

Additionally, the kit includes a smartphone adaptor and Bluetooth remote control that allows any smartphone between 2.1 and 3.4 inches wide for digiscoping. For added stability, the monocular has a 1/4" thread to attach it to a tripod or monopod of your choice.

What is "Digiscoping"?
As an alternative to investing in an expensive camera lens, "Digiscoping" is simply pairing a digital camera/smartphone with an optical-enhancement product -- traditionally, a spotting scope, but this can also include binoculars or a monocular. While the photos are rarely as high-quality as those taken with a dedicated camera setup, digiscoping allows you to photograph your sightings (or just have fun) without the cost of an expensive camera kit. Therefore, you can explore your world and record distant shots without investing in a professional rig.
