Overview

The Sky-Watcher family of EvoStar ED telescopes started with the 80ED, a value for money favourite of astronomers all over the world.

The new EVOLUX 62ED continues this tradition with major enhancements including unparalleled levels of optic performance for an ED telescope and a new optional re-designed dedicated reducer/field flattener for a wider field of view and faster imaging.

Evolux Series

The Evolux telescopes series are refractors with optical tube assembly (OTA) which offer great performance, using a lens to gather and focus light. These refractor telescopes are rugged, thus after the initial alignment, their optical system is more resistant to misalignment than the reflector telescopes.

Evolux lenses rarely need cleaning because the glass surface inside the tube is sealed from the atmosphere, and air currents and effects due to changing temperatures are eliminated, offering sharper and steadier images when compared to a reflector telescope of the same size.
