Overview

GME AE4701 is a rugged, high-performance antenna whip to suit Australia's harsh conditions. The AE4700 series is an adaptable antenna system with the coaxial termination embedded within the spring assembly with an easy screw down fit of the whip. This allows for interchangeability of whips depending on the operating conditions and application, shorter lengths and lower gain for hilly terrain and longer lengths with higher gain for travelling on open roads with flat terrain. These antennas are a popular choice for 4WD caravans and heavy vehicles.

The GME AE4701 Antenna is a unity gain (2.1dBi) that outputs a signal at the same level at which it is input. The broad distribution pattern of unity gain antennas is less likely to be obstructed by buildings, bushland and hilly terrain. Therefore, a unity gain antenna is the best choice for a rugged and mountainous country.
