Appearance: Dark brilliant ruby

Aroma: Wonderfully refined, full of ripe plum and cherry aromas complemented by tantalising spicy notes.

Palate: Lush and forward fruit profile with sweet toasty oak flavours blended with bitter chocolate and ripe raspberry. Lush finish, filled with sweet baked cherry flavours, a hint of tobacco, and round, easy tannins.

Decanting this wine is recommended for 30-60 minutes which helps soften the tannins and open up the herbal, red fruit, and spice notes. Serving temperature is recommended between 16-18 C. It will pair excellently with aged cheeses, red meats, game meats, mushroom based dishes and ragu.
