Colour: A bright, crimsony red with a purple hue

Aroma: Lovely lifted fruit aromas of spicy cherries, smoky plums and fresh tamarillo; these characters have been complexed by 9 months maturation in once and twice used French oak.

Palate: This is an attractive, light-medium bodied Pinot with good texture and good mouth feel. It has fresh raspberry fruit flavours and sweet tamarillo characters. These fruit flavours are balanced by the fine, slightly chalky tannins which give the wine its good palate length.

Cellaring: A lighter style of Pinot Noir, this can be enjoyed now with any type of food while it will also handle an extra year or two in the bottle and develop further complexity. Serve lightly chilled on a warm day.
