The nose opens with an opulent wave of dark fruits, stewed plums and raisins, layered with caramelised brown sugar and subtle toasted nut notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, revealing flavours of plum compote, blackberry, chocolate and silky mocha, complemented by buttery pastry richness and a delicate thread of Tasmanian peat smoke.
