Produced from a single vineyard and crafted in extremely limited quantities with only 300 dozen produced, this is a refined and highly awarded Chardonnay designed for lovers of premium barrel-fermented styles with elegance and restraint.Harvested in the cool of night to preserve freshness and purity, the fruit was barrel fermented in French oak hogsheads and puncheons, with an impressive 50% new oak and regular lees stirring building remarkable texture and complexity. Only the finest barrels were selected for the final blend, resulting in a Chardonnay of exceptional detail and sophistication.In the glass, pale straw hues introduce an elegant bouquet of white peach, nectarine and citrus layered seamlessly with butter, lemon curd, nougat, vanillin oak and crushed stone minerality. The palate is beautifully composed, delivering pure citrus and stone fruit flavours framed by creamy texture and finely tuned oak integration.
