The Wine Men of Gotham Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 pays tribute to the legendary “Wise Men of Gotham,” whose clever simplicity inspires this modern, fruit-driven South Australian Cabernet. Crafted during a warmer-than-average 2022 vintage, the season produced rich, concentrated grapes with intense colour and varietal purity. Under the expert direction of former Peter Lehmann winemaker Peter Pollard, the wine was shaped with clarity of fruit, refined structure and a strong commitment to quality.Bursting with blackcurrant, blackberry and ripe cherry, the palate is framed by a gentle touch of vanilla oak that adds warmth without overwhelming the fruit. Smooth, silky tannins glide across the mouth, giving the wine an elegant texture and a long, balanced finish.
