For example, 50-559means that the tyre is 50mm wide with a 559mm internal diameter (approx.26x2.00). ; Removing an inner tube: Remove the old inner tube using B'Twintyre levers ; Checks to carry out before installing an inner tube: Check thecondition of your tyre and replace it if necessary. Make sure no objects arelodged in the tyre. Check the condition of your tyre rim strip. A rim stripthat is even slightly bent can cause punctures. Check that your rim does nothave any other issues that could damage your inner tube ; Mounting the innertube: Watch our video before you start. Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly toavoid pinching. Insert the valve, making sure you are using the correct valvefor your rim. Put the inner tube entirely inside the tyre so that it fitsinside the rim.
