Our hiking designers have designed these NH900 Fresh shandals for your regular hikes on walking trails in hot weather. #### Resistant soles for walking trails Our hiking boots are designed for use on hiking trails. Indeed, the components of the sole and upper of our boots are selected and tested to ensure that they are as well suited as possible to hiking on soft trails (e.g. dirt paths in forests) or stony trails (rocky coastal footpaths). Road use (tarmac) may lead to premature wear on your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain walking. #### Tested for optimal durability Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes. #### Which pair of socks are suitable for Quechua NH900 Fresh shandals? You can wear these shandals without socks. However, if you do want to wear some, we recommend choosing a pair of polyamide, cotton-free socks. Polyamide is a fibre that is specially chosen for its capacity to eliminate moisture. We therefore recommend Newfeel WS500 Fresh socks. #### Which pair of socks are suitable for Quechua NH500 Fresh shandals? You can wear these shandals without socks. Lining 100% recycled polyester for blue/yellow and brown colours. By recycling plastic bottles or used textiles to produce our polyester, we reduce the use of petroleum-based resources while preserving the qualities and performance of the material for your treks. #### OUR COMMITMENT TO CONSUME LESS WATER WITH THIS PRODUCT We use this mass pigmentation for the black/yellow colours (reference 8626277).In addition to the large quantity of water consumed to dye the textiles, waste water is discharged from the dyeing baths. To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced. Our motivation? Provide the comfort and light weight of a sneaker while guaranteeing the protection and grip of a hiking shoe.
