Our design teams have developed this UV-protection swimming suit to protect babies from the sun during activities in the water and by the sea #### PROTECTION FOR KIDS Baby's skin is very sensitive to the sun, because infants' defence systems only become effective after the age of 3. For identical exposure, the effects of the sun are 2 to 3 times stronger on a child than on an adult. It is therefore important to protect them effectively. #### WHAT DOES UPF 50+ MEAN? UPF is a sun protection factor (Ultra Violet Protection Factor) and is standardised worldwide.It defines the protection level of a fabric and more precisely the proportion of UV rays it lets through.To meet the standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB rays. #### SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION By recycling plastic bottles or used textiles to produce our polyester, we are reducing our use of petroleum-based resources while retaining the qualities and performance of the fabric during use. The baby short-sleeved UV-protection suit made from recycled fabric provides protection from UV rays even in the water and is easy to put on with press studs at the back of the collar and crotch. ##### Sun protection UPF 50+ fabric. Sun protection even when wet. Blocks at least 95 % of UV rays. ##### Limits sand getting in The textile mesh prevents grains of sand from getting stuck. ##### Chlorine resistance Recommended for occasional use, up to 100 hours of activity.
