We've been waiting a while for a significant update to Motorola's groundbreaking MOTORAZR V3 mobile phone. The RAZR2 V9 is the first to make mobile phone junkies really say "wow".
That's not to say that the versions we've seen since the original emerged in 2004 are bad mobile phones. In fact, they're very good phones, just like the first Motorola V3. However to date the updated models haven't been, well, different enough to the original to warrant an update.
But all that has changed with the MOTORAZR2 V9. First and foremost, it looks a whole lot different - it's slimmer, sleeker and - thankfully - lighter (the V3 is definitely beginning to look a bit outdated three years down the track).
Inside the phone, things are just as impressive. The interface has been updated and there are heaps of noteworthy features, including a 2-megapixel camera, a music player with direct access to BigPond Music and 512MB of internal memory.
Last but not least, connectivity is also good on the Motorola RAZR2 V9, which a mobile phone has to be to be competitive in today's crowded market. Bluetooth and USB are built-in.
I've long been a Motorola fan, thanks to the innovative design and solid performance of the handsets and accessories. And now thanks to the V9, my Motorola love affair has been reignited.
