The Logitech X530 is an older 5.1-channel speaker system that offers an inexpensive way of adding decent sound to your PC.
It's been on the market since 2004 and although it's since been surpassed by newer models, the good news is that many retailers sell it for a significantly discounted price.
The Logitech X530 can be a handy add-on to your PC. The package consists of four satellite speakers, a centre-channel speaker and a subwoofer. The sound isn't as powerful as some other models however it's still respectable enough for general use.
One other glaring omission is a jack for connecting music sources including MP3 players and iPods. If you want to listen to your digital music collection you will have to do it through your computer. In fact the X530 only comes with the plugs required to connect to a 5.1-channel PC sound card, which severely limits its versatility.
