Logitech has always done inexpensive iPod speakers particularly well and the Pure-Fi Anywhere continues the trend.
Released towards the end of 2007, it's an update to the Logitech mm50, which has been one of the most popular portable iPod speakers in recent times.
The Pure-Fi Anywhere builds on the performance of the mm50 - sound quality has definitely improved. In fact, to the untrained ear, the sound is hard to fault.
For a portable speaker, the Pure-Fi Anywhere is by no means small but then again it does come with an in-built rechargeable battery. It also comes with dock adaptors for nine models of iPod, which covers all previous versions bar the Shuffle.
The remote control has also been improved, offering the usual functions as well as a circular control that lets you access the iPod's menus from a distance.
The Pure-Fi Anywhere comes in high-gloss black or white and is attractive enough to leave out on display in your lounge room.
You can currently pick up the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere for $149 from Dick Smith Electronics (saving yourself $50) - click here for more information.
