If you're sick of hearing the same old thing on the radio when your alarm goes off in the morning, then you need to invest in an iPod clock radio.
The Jensen JiMS 125 is a relatively inexpensive (less than $100) clock radio that combines iPod docking functionality.
This means you can dock your iPod (it's compatible with nine recent models and comes with a connector cable for the shuffle and other MP3 players), set your alarm and you will be awoken to songs off your own playlist rather than from the radio.
The iPod will also integrate with the clock radio's snooze functionality.
Of course, if you still want to listen to the radio, you have that option too. All this can be controlled via the included remote control.
Given the price, it's fair to say you can't expect audiophile-quality sound. There are several other iPod clock radios on the market that do the job better, however you will be paying several hundred dollars for them.
If the Jensen JiMS 125 is a unit you'll only be using in your bedroom, then the sound will be adequate, however for use as a primary speaker system, you will need to spend a few more dollars.
